Trimming units remove damaged edges, and cutting systems can produce strips of fixed length if needed. Precision in these stages is essential because even small dimensional errors can affect downstream forming or welding processes.Quality control is a major part of the line. Modern steel strip processing lines often include inspection systems such as thickness gauges, width measurement devices, surface defect detectors, and automatic tension monitoring. These systems help operators maintain stable production and detect problems early. Data can be collected and analyzed in real time to improve efficiency, reduce downtime, and support predictive maintenance.At the end of the line, the processed strip is recoiled into finished coils for storage, transport, or direct use in subsequent manufacturing steps. Coiling must be done carefully to maintain tight and even winding, protect the surface, and ensure easy handling.
