Линия непрерывного цинкования
A Continuous Galvanizing Line (CGL) is an industrial production system used to apply a protective zinc coating to steel strip in a nonstop, highly automated process. It is widely used in the steel industry to produce galvanized steel products with strong corrosion resistance, good surface quality, and stable mechanical performance. The line is designed to process coil after coil of cold-rolled steel, making it suitable for large-scale manufacturing in construction, automotive, appliance, and general industrial applications. The process begins with incoming steel coils, which are loaded into an uncoiler and fed into the line. Before galvanizing, the strip must be cleaned thoroughly to remove oil, dirt, rust, and other surface contaminants. This is usually done through a series of alkaline cleaning, brushing, rinsing, and drying stages. In many lines, the strip then passes through an annealing furnace, where it is heated and controlled under a protective atmosphere to restore the desired metallurgical properties and prepare the surface for coating. After thermal treatment, the strip enters the zinc pot, where it is immersed in molten zinc. The temperature of the bath is carefully controlled to ensure proper coating formation and consistent adhesion. As the strip exits the bath, air knives or gas wiping systems remove excess zinc and help regulate coating thickness on both sides of the strip. The coating weight can be adjusted according to product requirements, allowing manufacturers to produce different grades for different end uses.Once coated, the strip is cooled and passed through finishing equipment. This may include skin pass mills, tension levelers, and surface inspection systems. Skin passing improves flatness, appearance, and mechanical behavior, while inspection systems detect coating defects, shape issues, or surface imperfections. The strip is then oiled if needed, recoiled, and prepared for shipment or further processing.A Continuous Galvanizing Line offers several important advantages. It provides high production efficiency, uniform coating quality, and excellent corrosion protection. Because the process is continuous, it reduces downtime and increases output compared with batch galvanizing methods. It also allows precise control over process variables such as strip tension, furnace atmosphere, bath temperature, and coating thickness, which helps maintain product consistency.Modern CGLs are equipped with advanced automation, monitoring, and control systems. These technologies improve safety, reduce energy consumption, and support real-time quality management. Data from sensors and inspection devices can be used to optimize operation, reduce defects, and improve yield. In summary, a Continuous Galvanizing Line is a key facility for producing durable galvanized steel in a fast, efficient, and controlled manner. It combines cleaning, heating, coating, cooling, and finishing into one integrated process, enabling reliable production of high-quality steel products for a wide range of industries.
